Blended Learning Format
This course consists of:
- 13-hour Online Computer-Based Training (CBT) Module – Completed through the TEEX/NERRTC platform before attending in-person training.
- 46 hours of Instructor-Led Training (ILT) over 5 days – Includes hands-on skills, field simulations, and scenario-based exercises.
Hands-On Training at MUTC
Participants will train at Muscatatuck Urban Training Center (MUTC), a 1,000-acre advanced facility used for military and civilian emergency response training. The site features:
- Live rubble piles and collapse structures for realistic disaster response training.
- Confined space rescue simulators to practice patient extraction techniques.
- Hazardous environment training areas for extreme condition response drills.
